As a well-known manufacture, export and supplier in this domain, we are offering high quality SX (Starlight Xpress) Filter. Available in different specifications as per the specific requirements of our valued clients, it is manufactured under the supervision of our experts using supreme quality 316 SS or Drisco HDPE fusion welded. Apart from it, this filter is used in various industries for coalescing and filtration. This SX Filter removes down to 2 PPM while the second media layer and provides electrolyte filtration down to 10 microns.
The SX filter is designed specially to offer outstanding organic removal as well as filtered electrolyte for solvent extraction market. This is operated in the complicated environments of solvent extraction plants, which is the prime role of the filters.
The SX filter is designed to provide outstanding removal of the organic as well as suspended solids from the electrolyte system. There are two separate layers utilized by SX filter, one is medium for filtration and second for coalescing. Organic removal down to 2 PPM is offered by the upper media layer when the filtration is down to 10 microns offered by the second media layer.
316L SS is designed vessel internals for backwash, inlet flow as well as service outlet. Moreover, the air as well as service outlet internals are available in 316L SS screens for media containment.
316L SS is used to design the SX filter pressure vessels according to the ASME and NB requirements as well as stamped. 50 psig is the normal pressure vessel rating having higher ratings. Man ways, windows and tank supports are standard for filtration system. They are designed from 316L SS. All vessel connections are available with standard ANSI flanges.
Carbon steel skids are precisely mounted on the SX filters blasted to SSP-10 as well as coated using epoxy along with polyurethane for providing extra corrosion protection.
Piping and Valves:
316 SS butterfly, available with air operators, is the standard valves of SX filter. For managing the system's performance, two 316 SS sample valves are provided and a 316 SS safety pressure relief valve is available with system protection. Piping is designed using 316 SS or Drisco HDPE fusion welded that can be easily heat traced to avoid crystallization.
From the electrolyte system, the SX filters provide for excellent removal of organic and suspended solids. Two separate layers of media for coalescing and for filtration are used by the SX filters. The upper media layer provides for organic removal down to 2 ppm while the second media layer provides electrolyte filtration down to 10 microns.
- Custom-designed or customized control panel is available with operator interface terminal as well as data communications and ports.
- Filter ensures to eradicate 95-99% of organic remains that produce extremely high electrolyte quality.
- Elements that are located to the front of the system for easier access need minimal maintenance
- Open galleries are included for safer and easier passage to the filter elements
- Distinctive design operates low shipping, maintenance and installation costs
The SX filters can be constructed in a variety of specifications. Typical options have custom controllers, alternate piping as well as vessel materials like exact welding, hastelloy and specifications to meet the needs of clients. The specifying engineering companies for meeting the industrial filtration needs. They have free standing and self-contained units. In addition, they are available in a diversity of standard sizes and specifications having individual unit flow rates up to 350 GPM (80 m3/hr). A range of units are provided is available with higher flow rates. All vessels, piping, instruments, controls as well as media are available for completely automatic as well as operational filtration system.
No movable parts are available. The media cleaning system is designed to ensure maximum media lifetimes. Typically, the anthracite media is replaced in every 24 months with the combination with SX process technology. Garnet lifetime is significantly longer.
